Job Summary

Line cook position for a reliable individual looking to expand their culinary skills and grow with us. Part-time availability.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Carefully follows standard recipes while preparing assigned items for foodservice
• Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices
• Assists other cooks during emergencies or rush periods
• Inspects and cleans food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
• Assist in plating food items for service
• Cleans assigned workstation areas
• Ensures food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
• Carefully follows instructions and procedures set and communicated by the Chef

Qualifications & Skills

• Reliable
• Able to communicate effectively with other team members
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in busy bars/restaurants
• Knowledge of modern kitchens, chefs, and techniques
• Must have a positive attitude and be self-motivated
• Must interact with brunch guests and ensure a great experience
• Flexible scheduling
